The annual United Way campaign provides funding to 48 programs through 33 local health and human service partner agencies. These programs focus on the building blocks of a good life in the areas of education, income, and health. Just to name a few: providing meals to seniors, mentoring and character building for our youth, providing hospice care to the terminally ill and their families, providing medical and dental services to the uninsured and providing basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing as well as disaster services.
Central Georgia needs people like you to get involved, and together we’ll unite a community of champions. There are many paths to becoming a champion, and volunteering is a great way to join our team of champions. Here are just a few of the ways you can make Central Georgia stronger: tutor students, help with disaster relief, coach an RBI team, deliver meals to seniors, or host a supply drive.
By donating to United Way, you are strengthening our neighborhoods and bolstering the health of our communities. Unite with us today to change the lives of those who walk by you every day.
