A partnership between United Way of Central Georgia and Roger Jackson and Motivating Youth Foundation brought Delivering Good to Bibb County. It is supported by Macon-Bibb County, Griffith Family Foundation, and Rhythm & Jazz Foundation.
To show our appreciation, we organized a Delivering Good giveaway exclusively for Bibb County School District employees. Our giveaway took place in the gym at Central High School on March 11th between 8 AM and 1 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM.
At the event, 741 teachers and staff received Hanes clothing, Champion sportswear, Michael Kors shoes, golf wear, and children's clothing.
Delivering Good collects surplus products from the fashion, home, and children's industries and distributes them to local communities. Partners like Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Burlington, The Children's Place, etc., contribute to Delivering Good. Each shipment to a community includes brand new items donated by these partners. The items vary each time, but all are brand new and must be given away.
Volunteers from Bibb School Counselors and Teachers, BREA Retirees, Rhythm N Jazz, students, and community leaders made the event possible.
