UPDATE: 478 Sings United has been bringing artists and our community together for the last two years. As we enter our third year, we are rethinking the original virtual format. Our goal this year is to increase engagement by including a live in-person component of this event. To pivot in this direction, we will need time to figure out all the details involved in a live show. Therefore, the event will be postponed while these details are sorted out. We are still seeking local artists, so if you are interested in being a part of 478 Sings, please apply! Please stay tuned for more details about the performance. Let's rock out in person very soon!
478 Sings United is a musical artist showcase and fundraiser hosted by United Way of Central Georgia, Macon Arts Alliance, Bragg Jam, and Mercer University.
Each week 478 Sings United will share new video submissions from participating bands or artists. The public will vote for their favorites by donating a dollar per vote. Voting is unlimited!
The competitors with the most votes at the end of each round will advance, concluding with a head-to-head match up in the final week of May.

Every dollar donated to vote for your favorite artist is invested right back into our Central Georgia community! Proceeds support United Way of Central Georgia and the Macon Arts Alliance.
United Way aims to disrupt the cycle of poverty by focusing on education, income, health and basic needs. We do this by vetting and investing in community-based programs and services, leading community change initiatives, and mobilizing resources and volunteers. Macon Arts Alliance established the Creative Relief Fund to provide direct support to artists and creatives in Central Georgia facing isolated financial emergencies.
Voting
Each week, new videos will be shared on Monday. Voting will open Tuesday and close Friday at noon.
