Brookdale Resource Center (BRC), alongside our United to End Homelessness initiative, embodies United Way's commitment to addressing homelessness in Central Georgia. Brookdale is a transitional housing and resource center offering a comprehensive 90-day tailored program. Since 2021, BRC has served as a beacon of hope, providing essential support and resources for those who are experiencing homelessness. This effort began when Macon-Bibb County Mayor, Lester Miller entrusted United Way to oversee Brookdale's operations. In February 2023, BRC expanded with Hello House, a 50 bed emergency shelter, ensuring safe refuge during the night.
